Luchador Cinema

Luchador films were first produced to capitalize on the popularity of Mexican wrestlers, the first being "Huracán Ramírez" in 1952.  The films were campy, action-packed, and low-budget.  The plots are wacky and laughable, but also a lot of fun as the luchadores battle spies, vampires, mummies, Martians, and nefarious doctors.  All contain choreographed wrestling matches and fight scenes.
There have been around 150 luchador films produced with the most well-known films featuring Huracán Ramírez, Santo (52 films), Blue Demon (25 films), Mil Mascaras (20 films), and Neutrón (5 films).
These DVDs have been authored using the best sources we could find for the films.

NOTE: All films are in SPANISH and do NOT have sub-titles.
