As a freshman on his high school wrestling team, a 0-22-1 record didn’t daunt Bob’s determination. He went on to wrestle a perfect 27-0 record in his senior year, win the State title, earn four National AAU All-American rankings, and win a position on the 1968 U.S. Olympic team. Bob made his pro wrestling debut in Florida in 1969 and went on to win titles in Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia. Best known as the tag team partner of Bob Orton, Jr., he was also a member of Kevin Sullivan’s Army of Darkness. This interview features never-before-told stories about Eddie Graham, Terry Funk, Ron Fuller, Dick Murdock, Jack Brisco, Hiro Matsuda, and many more.
